Reading Theater Project, in partnership with LGBT Center of Greater Reading and GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, present the LGBT + PlaywRIGHTing Series, four new plays featuring characters who are LGBTQ+ and their stories.
Reading Theater Project's work this season has been finding words within words, ideas within ideas, stories within stories. The word RIGHT makes us this about right and wrong, right and left, human rights... what comes to mind for you?
All performances will take place at Boscov Film Theater at GoggleWorks (201 Washington Street, Reading, PA 19601). Parking is free, gender neutral bathrooms are available, the building is accessible.
Tickets are pay what you will (you decide the price), with a recommended price of $10, and pay-it-forward (for those who are able) price of $20. Everyone is welcome here.
One play will be performed each night. A talkback will follow each reading:
- Sweet Texas Reckoning by Traci Godfrey, directed by Joel Richard Gori (to be performed on May 5, 2022 at 7 PM)
